awesome (2009-06-24)
this product is great. easy to use and very durable. Even looks good as a unit.
not happy (2009-06-24)
worked for a day and then computer stopped recognition. trying to navigate thru return maze.
Great Player for the price (2009-06-18)
I love this device and everything it has to offer. Although it only holds about 470 songs and im not sure if the battery just got old but it only lasts about a little over 7 hours of non stop playing, which I use for work. I have ordered the 8 gb player and would recommend this to anyone because its very simple to sync ur songs. I was also having trouble trasnferring music to my new computer with the stupid Windows Easy Transfer and was able to use this device to transfer my music.
Picked up this ove iPod Shuffle (2009-06-17)
The display and ability to see the palylist is a big plus as compared to iPod shuffle.
It is a little bigger than iPod shuffle, but it is fine for my jogging.
Good sound clarity.
I might need to get a new headphone as the one that comes with Clip does not fit well in my ears and it keeps coming out when you jog/run.
This is my first investment in MP3 player. 2GB is good for my gym/running routine if required I will upgrade to a higher capacity in 6 months.
Overall I am very happy with my decision to buy Sansa Clip.
Sansa Clip MP3 player ear phone port (jack) defective (2009-06-17)
I am generally pleased with this MP3 player - such as the sound and the software made it easy to get up to speed.
However, I had to return my Sansa Clip due to a defective ear phone port (or jack). When I inserted the headphone connector/plug all the way in, there was no audio. I had to slightly pull it out to make a good connection. Ugh!
I called 1-866-SanDisk (1-866-726-3475), and the tech support person confirmed my finding and suggested I return it to where I purchased it.
Obviously, I have no way of knowing how frequent the occurence of this problem is. But it certainly complicated replacement. I had purchased it online, so there was no brick & mortar store to make replacement easier.
I also complained to the tech support person that the cheap headphone that came with the Clip player was unusable. After I told him I was 6'2" and 200 pounds, he said it was probably too small for my outer ear canal. I wanted to ask (but I didn't), "Did Sansa only desigh these for petetite teenage girls?"
No bigee, as I had planned to purchase a better headphone anyway (probably a Sennheiser).
