Be ready for the next platform in wireless connectivity with the integrated Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965 AGN LAN chip. It's also backward compatible with 802.11b/g networks (commonly found in home routers and Wi-Fi hotspots). With the Bluetooth connectivity, you can communicate and synchronize with Bluetooth-enabled peripherals such as PDAs and cell phones

This 1.6 GHz Atom processor also includes a power-optimized front side bus of 533 MHz for faster data transfer on demanding mobile applications and a 512 KB L2 cache (which temporarily stores data).
Together with the exclusive ASUS Super Hybrid Engine, you'll enjoy a longer battery lifespan of up to 6 hours, allowing you to stay in touch and be connected for a longer period of time while on-the-go. Good netbook with awful keyboard (2009-06-30)
I picked this netbook over other brands because of the great battery life. I've carried it all day through the schools I visit, using intermittently, and it's never gone below 60% battery power, which is great.
BUT, after owning it a couple months, I'm going to try to sell mine. Why? The keyboard is just so annoyingly small that I can't type on it without watching my fingers (which sort of defeats the point, since I use it to take notes on children's classroom behaviors). Maybe if this is the ONLY computer you use, you get used to it. But switching between it and a regular laptop, I have never acclimated.
I would really discourage anyone from buying this on Amazon (like I did) unless you've tried typing on it in a store first. The keyboard may only be 10% smaller than a HP netbook's, but it makes a huge difference.
EasyEasyEasy PC (2009-06-29)
I bought this to use on trips so I could type a journal and access my e-mail. I liked the compact size and the sturdiness of a netbook, as compared to a larger and more fragile laptop. It was simple to begin using the ASUS PC, since it uses Windows XP and Microsoft Works Word, programs I am familiar with. It has plenty of memory for my needs. The only (minor) complaint I have is that the carrying pouch is a bit too snug.
Good little notebook (2009-06-28)
This is a really nice notebook and easy to use. I found taking it on trips worked out well. As it is easy to carry and needed little space on airplan trips. I was worried about downloading large programs on it (due to the amount of memory) but a flash drive fixed that problem and it meets all my needs now. Thanks ASUE Eee
ASUS Eee PC 901 (2009-06-24)
Purchased this for email and surfing. I've had it about a month and have nothing negative to say about it. Works great, battery life is around 6 hours. I've had no memory issues but then again I only use it to surf and do emails. Would recommend.
Simply wonderful (2009-06-22)
I adore this computer; in all fairness, I had originally received a dud, but Amazon remedied the situation almost immediately, and I had my new computer of the same model less than 3 days after calling to say that mine was defective. Now that it functions properly, I may say: this computer is wonderful - quick, light, small, and easy to navigate.
I am incredibly pleased with this product, and would recommend it to anyone with fairly small hands. :)
